Our Charity For 2018 and 2019 Is Beaulieu House

We are proud to try and make a difference in our community and for a very local charity on the island called Beaulieu House. This fantastic centre is a children’s home and respite centre for seriously disabled children up to the age of 18. Beaulieu house is funded by the local authority, however friends of Beaulieu House provide the majority of the ‘fun stuff’ that makes such a difference for the deserving children and their families. Examples of this are providing mini busses so the children can get out and about, providing season passes to local attractions and for days out, providing a state of the art sensory room, computers and IT equipment – the list is endless. Most people, ourselves included didn’t even know where Beaulieu house was. It’s located adjacent to Medina High school and leisure centre.
